How to get Non-B Visa in Thailand?

For those who work here and need to stay longer or before you can get the Multiple Visa, you should get the Non-B Visa first. Non-immigrant B Visa will let you stay for another 90 days or 3 months.

Step by Step Instruction:

Go to Department of Employment Ministry of Labour, ask for the application form for a work permit. After you filed up the form with your employer signature and provide all the necessary documents, they will give you the letter for Royal Thai consulate. Payment will be 100 baht.

The following are required documents:

1. Employment Contract (written in Thai and English )

2. Reference letter (written in Thai and English )

3. Medical Certificate (Original Copy)

4. 3 photos (size 3x4 cm)

5. Photocopy of passport

6. Certificate of Education

7. Photocopy of Employer Identification Card

8. Filled up form with your employer signature (available at Department of Employment) 

Then after you receive your request letter to Royal Thai Consulate and the receipt of 100 baht that you paid. Prepare to leave for Penang Malaysia. You can choose other Royal Thai consulate outside of Thailand. I suggest you photocopy all your documents into 4 copies each.  Then seal it with your company or institution seal and let your employer sign it.

The following are required for Non-Immigrant B Visa

1. Employment Contract (written in Thai and English)

2. Reference letter(written in Thai and English)

3. Medical Certificate

4. 4 photos (size 3x4 cm)

5. Photocopy of passport

6. Organizational Chart

7. School Map

8. Photocopy of Employer Identification Card

9. work permit or a receipt from the department of labor that you're processing your work permit.  
10. Certificate of Education ( Diploma, TOR, etc)

11. Police Clearance (Police Station Thailand)
12. NBI (from your country) 

13. Pay 360 Malaysian Ringgit

Most of us teachers and employees working in Thailand just give some extra 40 RM and let the Banana Inn process it. Just past your documents from 8:00 am to 11:00 and you will get the passport with Visa on the next day at 4:00 in the afternoon. You will have a lot of time walking around. By the way, Banana Inn will not accept your documents if it's not complete.
