How to get Tourist Visa in Thailand?

You can enter Thailand without a visa, an only valid passport is required. If you travel via land through Thailand borders, they will let you stay 15 days. But if you enter Thailand via airport or train from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, they will give you 30 days to stay If you plan to stay more than 1 month, you can get a visa via Thai Embassy in your country or go to Royal Thai Consulate in Penang Malaysia.

Requirements for Thailand Tourist Visa
1. Passport
2. 2 Photos (size 3x4 cm)
3. Pay 150 Ringgit (New policy)
4. Hotel Reservation or Certificate of Residence if you are not staying in a hotel. A house owner blue book, house owner ID and a letter from the house owner. 

If I were you, getting some help will not harm you, instead, they will help you get your visa in the fastest way without hassle. 

Just give your passport to Banana Inn, located at George Town Penang, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and you will have your passport with tourist visa at 4:00 in the afternoon. They will just require you to pay 30 Malaysian Ringgits. No need to go to Royal Thai Consulate. After giving your passport, you can now go anywhere you want to go.

Other Hostels in George Town, Penang Malaysia is also offering some help. Taxi's fare to George Town to Royal Thai Consulate will cost 20 Ringgit. So think wisely either to process on your own or to get some help. 

Now they will give you 90 days or 3 months to stay in Thailand. Don't be confused if when you pass through the border, they will just let you stay in Thailand in 60 days, remember that you already spend your 1 month stay in Thailand. So the immigration will give only 2 months left for you. After you completed your 3 months of tourist visa and still wish to stay longer. You can get an extension in the Department of Immigration for another month and pay 1900 baht.
