When having a long weekend yet you don't like to go far away from Hatyai. There's a place that I love to recommend to you. Chakamas Homestay offers a very relaxing place at the same time your children will definitely enjoy this place. Aside from friendly services where staff can communicate in English well, they have a swimming pool, a little gym, a children's playground, a Ferris wheel for 30 baht (children and adult) and 30 baht if you want to rent a bike. The owner of this place lives in that mansion above so that house isn't for open for business but it added coziness to the place.

The room is cost 600 baht per night, with 1 bedroom and bathroom. That comes with a free 2 bottles of mineral water and hotpot for hot drinks. Free instant milo and coffee in a sachet. It has a spiral steel stairway going to the second floor or rooftop where you can put up your tent camp and has a grilling area if you wish to grill some meat. The rooftop has a nice overview of the Hat Yai Nai River.
The resort is very clean with a customer friendly staff. We stay at the resort for 3 days and 2 nights and it's really worth it. They give us a lot of free bottled water and instant coffee and milo. Each room has a tv, fridge, and hotpot. The children go biking any time of the day but they only paid 30 baht once. The rooms are very affordable. For us, we paid 1500 for a big family room that can occupy 15 people.
There's a two-story house that can occupy at least 30 people for only 2500 baht per day. Check-in time is 2 in the afternoon to 12 noon on the next day.
You can also pay for 60 baht per person if you only wish to swim for a day and no plans to stay overnight. They have free cottages, tables, and benches near the pool. The pool was divided into two. There's a pool with 2 feet high for children and 4 to 5 feet high for an adult.
