I am not here to promote, I just want to say something about Choengmon Beach Hotel and Spa. We stay here for 3 days and 2 night. I was actually looking for a place near the beach and a hotel with a pool for our children to enjoy and I found this hotel on the internet.
The room price is not so expensive given that it has a pool and a walking distance to the Choeng Mon Beach. You don't have to cross the street to get to the beach. They have different types of rooms, with 2 restaurants, a mini gym, and a diving center. As mention, they have a pool for the children and an adult pool.

We stayed on the 3rd floor of the right side building. The room is clean but old, same goes for the toilet. Yes, as mention on their website. All the rooms have air condition, hot and cold shower, mini fridge, a private balcony, cable TV, safety deposit box and a king size bed. The internet is good below but cannot reach the 3rd floor, which is not good because for me the internet is life.
A family mart is 5 meters away and you can rent a motorcycle across the street for 200 - 250 baht. Which is very convenient if you want to travel around. You have to deposit your passport to be able to rent a motorcycle. You must take a photo of your motorcycle before you use it to avoid unnecessary penalty. You will pay if you cause a damage to your rented motorcycle. You must take a photo, in case the owner will accuse you of damaging the motorbike, so you have a photo to compare it if it's true or not.
As you can see in this picture, this is the view from our terrace. You can see the beach is just a walking distance from here and their green colored tiled pool. If you want to party at night, yes there is in front of the beach.

The Choeng Mon Beach Bar and Restaurant is located in beachfront. In the evening, where the sun is out the tourist come out to have a party all night. Drinks are everywhere and the music is being played by the local band and foreign singers also. So in the morning, the busy bar is closed and the tourists are sleeping like a log. Definitely, I will recommend this place. There are still a lot of rooms to choose from.
