Khuha Sawan Mountain View Park Phatthalung is located at Khuha Sawan District Phatthalung. Google map click here. It is along the unnamed road going to the Malai Cave. It is not a famous destination in Phatthalung Thailand. The famous symbol of Phatthalung which is the Khao Ok Thalu Mountain serves us the backdrop of this place. This is just like a huge rice field. They put 2 wooden bridges that will get you to the wooden benches in the middle of the rice field. It is a good place to rest early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The air is fresh here and breezy. The wooden windmill is just for display and it's not functioning at all.

In the afternoon there are some vendors here that sell local delicacies. I have seen few people who jog here and cycling. In front of this park is the railway. Just 50 meters away from here is the railway station. Where passengers stop or ride the train. You can view this park from the train window.

There is also a canal and has a wooden bridge that will get you near the railways. I have seen 2 locals go fishing in the canal. Some tourists who will go to the Malai Cave and Malai Temple stop here for a few minutes to take a photo. This is a newly developed park so not many locals or tourists come here. They don't have a public toilet here. It is just a Khao Ok Thalu viewing area.

They put some cow structures here and some wooden benches for picture taking. The duck family caught my attention. They are lovely in my eyes as the white mommy duck and the black father duck say "quack quack" while their baby ducks form a line and response to their parents "quack quack". They were so cute and they added beauty to the park.

The birds also are flying freely. The scarecrow is there to scare them away but it seems the birds don't mind. The ambiance is really awesome, it feels like you were very far from the city. This is is an open space so it is free and open for the whole day. They don't have a parking space, so we parked our car on the side of the road. Only a few cars go this way so it is safe to park your car on the side of the road.

The best time to come here is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Only a few trees around so it is hot here on a sunny day. They are still continuously improving this place.
