We stayed in an air-conditioned room with fridge, TV and hot shower. The room comes with free two bottles of mineral water. There are other drinks in the fridge and junks food but it is not free. They sell it at a very affordable price at the same price at 7 eleven. Whether you book online or book there on the spot. The room price is still the same so it is better to book ahead online so you will be able to reserve it ahead. Our room cost 500 baht a day, check-in time is 2:00 in the afternoon and check-out before 12:00 noon. They have bigger rooms also with a nice view of 700 baht per day on the second floor. They only have a few rooms so it is better to book online ahead.
They have customer friendly staff and can at least speak English. You won't have a problem communicating with her. They have a pool which is located in front of the guest house. The pool is beside the owner's house. The pool is not so big but it's very clear and not shabby. It's only 4 feet to 5 feet deeper and they don't have a pool for children. If you stay here with your family. You can bring inflatable things for children to use. The pool is open until 9:00 o'clock in the evening.
This is the only guest house that is very near in Khao OK Thalu Mountain. A must see tourist spot in Phatthalung. You can read my blog about it, just click the link. The mountain makes this place windy and not too hot. It is not too far in the center town of Phatthalung so you won't have a problem buying food. But there is no shop near the guest house. They don't have a parking space, you can park your can beside the street. The street is not so busy only a few cars passed here, so it is safe to park your car along the street near the guest house.
The guest house is near the temple also. There are only a few houses around here so it is peaceful and away from the crowded and noisy street of the town. Staycation here and wake up early in the morning for a hiking adventure going to the top of the Khao Ok Thalu Mountain. Overall the guest Mountain View Guest House is a cheap but cozy place to stay.
