Tiger Cave Temple is a famous tourist destination in Krabi. It is located at Krabi Noi, Mueang Krabi District, Krabi Thailand. For Google map click here. This temple is one of the famous tourist's destinations in Krabi Thailand. You can get here by songtaew from Aonang beach or Krabi town. Most of the tourist rent a motorbike for 200 - 250 baht to go around Krabi. It is better to come here with your rented motorcycle and just follow the GPS on your phone. You need to deposit your passport as collateral and be sure to take a photo of the motorbike before using it to avoid unnecessary fees.

The temple is quite big. It has an overview on the top of the hills by climbing 1237 or more steps going up. I tried to go up but it's too steep and the stairs are uneven, so we decided to go down instead. I have been here three times but never get a chance to climb up. It is always a quick visit for me. You should come here early in the morning if you wish to climb in the temple on the top of the hill. You should wear running shoes if you wish to climb but if not just wear sandals. Don't forget to bring water and snacks for you to eat while enjoying the panoramic view of Krabi Town.

Wear something decent footwear that easy to take off. You need to take off your shoes if you wish to go into the cave or inside the temple. For clothes, wearing shorts and spaghetti strap is prohibited.

Three years ago, when I went here, I still saw a lot of tourists wearing two-piece swimsuits or swimsuit. They avail tour packages so maybe they went swimming first before coming to the Tiger Cave Temple. But now, I still saw some tourist wearing swimsuits but they already covered it with a big bandana scarf. They ask tourists to wear something decent inside the temple premises. Be respectable enough to observe the rules.

Inside the cave at the base of the hill are buddha structures and relics. The cave is not so big but worth to visit. Outside there are colorful structures and temple. A huge Pagoda Temple still under construction. I came here 3 years in a row, but the Pagoda Temple still unfinished.

There's no admission fee but If you are generous enough you can donate some to help them maintain this temple and for the construction of the Huge Pagoda Temple.

Going further inside to Bodhisattva Kuan Im, there are so many monkeys along the way so you better watch out for your belongings. They are playing around and aren't afraid of tourists. They were scary but cute for me. There are shops inside if you wish to buy snacks and drinks.

Overall, the temple is very clean and quiet even though many tourists visit this temple. It is good for sight-seeing and taking pictures. The place has colourful structures and temples that is good for taking pictures. So, don't miss this Tiger Cave Temple when visiting this Krabi Thailand.
