Wat Kaew Korawan is located at 8/7 Maharaj Rd, Tambon Pak Nam, Amphoe Mueang Krabi, Chang Wat Krabi, Thailand. For Google map click here. This is not so famous tourist's destination in Krabi Thailand. The temple has two entrance. You can get here through a concrete pavement stairway with the golden Nagas or dragon. If you are lazy, you can take the other entrance to this place on the left side. You take the road going up to the hills by car or motorcycle. Mostly, tourists come here in their rented motorbike.
Wat Kaew Korawan is located on the top of the hill in the city. This is a sacred place for Buddhist believers, so they are asking the tourist and locals to wear decent clothes. Don't wear shorts and spaghetti straps if you are planning to visit this place.
There are many clothes shops down the hills and 7 Eleven in front if you want to buy snacks and drinks. We got here at noon and the sun is so hot. We got thirsty after visiting the temple.
The temple is worth to visit. Good for taking pictures and sight-seeing. There are many painting on the wall and a lot of Buddha relics inside the white temple. Just a few people come here so it is not crowded.
If you are here to pray and for sight-seeing, the best time to come here is early morning or late in the afternoon when the sun is out. The whole place is concrete cement and no trees that will shade you from the heat of the sun. Come here at noon if you are here for photography. The sun shines so brightly and the white temple looks more beautiful with the blue sky above.
