General Prem Tinsulanonda Historical Park Songkhla is located Phawong, Mueang Songkhla District. You can find this park along the road going to Kho Yo and near the Tinasulanonda Bridge. It is open from 9:00 o'clock in the morning to 8:00 o'clock in the evening.
The park is very big and you can enjoy many activities here. You can go picnic here but bring your own mat. There is no shop inside so you must also bring your own snacks or food before coming here.
You can go biking here. They have the bikes for rent for only 20 baht per hour. The bike for adult and kids has the same price. You can go around the park with your bike. There is also a narrow paved cement way inside the mangroves going to the lake view. You must be careful when coming here to the lake view by bike or it is better to come here on foot.
You can do jogging here and there are gym types of equipment near the solar and windmill energy where you can do some exercise. A lot of locals come here in the afternoon but is still not so crowded because it is very big.
It has beautiful scenery with green lawn and a lake view which is good for taking photos and sight-seeing. The place is very clean, well maintain and quiet. A huge parking lot and clean toilet are available for everyone.
It is a good place for the family and friends to have recreational activities. The atmosphere is very relaxing and a fitness place for those who want to do some exercise.
Luang Por Tad is a statue of General Prem Tinsulanonda located on the other side of the park. Inside this building where the statue rise is a learning center but it is still currently under construction. The place is quiet and peaceful.
