This place is quite popular now, just recently the owner of the rice field decided to make a wood bridge to make it easier for him to check around the farm. But locals started to come to this place and take a photo. So, later on, they decided to add some stuff and make this a tourist destination. The greenly field makes beautiful photos to be posted on social media.
Nala farm is located at Tambon Tha Kham, Amphoe Hatyai, Chang Wat Songkhla. For Google Map click here. It is 24 hours open to the public since it is an open field. It's 18 kilometers from the heart of the city and less than 30 minutes to travel.
Don't expect too much of this place. This is nothing compared to other tourist destination. It is just a green field with a wooden bridge that will take you around the farm. There is nothing really much to see aside from the green field. Well, the best relaxation is to spend it with nature. Natures make our body relax and also it heals us. I also saw white birds flying around, they also decorated some trees with birds nest. A good place to visit and unwind.
The best time to come here is early in the morning and late in the afternoon when the sun is out. People usually come here late in the afternoon. So, if you want to avoid the crowd, come here early in the morning or in the middle of the day.
We came here late in the afternoon. I was surprised to see a bunch of people. The bridge is not so wide and people come and go, so be careful with your steps not to fall down into a muddy field. Some field is muddy and there are places where it is not muddy too. People usually give way so everyone is safe while walking on the wooden bamboo bridge.
There are small cottages and bench in the middle of the bridge. But the best part for me is the cottage in the tree. I felt like a child again. Tree cottage is something childish for me and I love it. I didn't miss the opportunity to climb to fell like a child again. They decorated this tree with hanging birds nest.
After getting around you can find a few shops here. Selling snacks and drinks for tourist. Overall, it is simple but a good place to walk around and spending time with nature. Watch in Youtube video down here.
