The pass in the Upside-Down Museum comes with a voucher that indicates a 4 Malaysian Ringgit discount if ever you get the chance to also visit their famous 3D Fluorescent Art Museum and Penang Time Tunnel- which we did not want to miss! After we had our lunch in Prangin mall, we chose to ride a Rickshaw Tricycle again since this museum is located on the opposing side of George Town. 10 Malaysian Ringgit per person was charged because it is undeniably far from the heart of George Town.
We learned historical facts about Penang straits settlement 400 years ago. The museum is small but it's interesting and quite informative. There is also an interesting film showing about traditional trades in Penang that passes down through the generation of families in the midway. Although children perhaps won't appreciate this little museum.
This area seriously has a different vibe going on and you should experience it yourself. Once you finish exploring the tunnel, you can now move on to the first floor where the Fluorescent Art Museum which is again, undeniably breath-taking! Each wall displays a 3D art and staffs will also help you take pictures. Words are not enough to describe how these arts seemed like they have a life. I think most people had enjoyed the fluorescent and 3D art gallery instead. A must-try experience indeed.
