This is a famous Thai dish. It is a common dish in many restaurants around Thailand. Pad Pak Ruam means Stir Fried Vegetables in English. I really like this dish. Some restaurant added chicken and shrimps on this dish but if you wish to eat only vegetables you can tell the waiter not to add chicken or shrimps.
In Thai you can tell them "Mai aw kai" means you don't like chicken, "Mai aw kong" for shrimps or "mai aw kay, mai aw kong". If you don't eat chicken or shrimps. Tell them "mai kin kong" or "mai kin kai, "kin" means eat in English.

Sometimes, I entered the restaurant which I cannot understand the menu which is written in Thai. I just tell the waiter if they have Pad Pak Ruam. They can't understand if you tell them stir-fried vegetables. You must familiarize the name of some famous Thai cuisine if you want to visit Thailand.
I often cook this at home. I bought mix vegetables in the market (seasonal vegetables) and added salt, seasoning and mushroom sauce. You can put some mushroom, shrimp or chicken (optional). You can also put oyster sauce or just oyster sauce alone instead of mushroom sauce. It is easy to cook. Just stir fry it for 5 minutes. Although my cooking skills cannot be compared to the restaurant 😊. Because I like this dish, I must learn how to cook it. I will update my blog next time. I will add video and more direction on how I cook it.
