Pad Thai or Thai Fried Noodles is a famous dish in Thailand and one of my favorite among Thai food. Even if I want to go on diet, I'm craving to eat it if I see it while buying vegetables and fruits in the market. Most Thai restaurant offers this in their menu. Pad means "fried" in English. The pictured above is a Pad Thai from Tummour Restaurant.
Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle with vegetables and meat. I love it more with kale on it. It also has a bean spout and coriander. As for meat you can choose for "kai" or Chicken, "moo" for pork or "merk" for seafood or you can also ask for a vegetarian style Pad Thai. I always prefer vegetarian style Pad Thai although I love meat but sometimes I want to skip eating meat.
You can find it in a night market or in a regular market. In a fancy restaurant, it cost around 50 to 75 baht per serving. In a cheap restaurant, it cost 25 to 50 baht. In a night market or regular market, it's only 20 baht per serving. They actually don't add meat in the market. They added fish balls instead.

Pad Thai bought in the market |
I actually prefer this kind of noodles (pictured above). I bought it in the market near my home. It has kale and fresh bean spout. It has chili powder if you want it spicy and spicy sauce also. Since I really don't like spicy food, I am Ok without it so I didn't mix it. Don't miss it if you visit Thailand in the future. You won't get hungry here because anywhere you stay or go in Thailand you can find a restaurant or food stalls near you.
