The Stunning Petronas Twin Tower of Malaysia

Monday, April 29, 2019

This is our last destination here in Malaysia, the famous and iconic Petronas Twin Tower. I've always seen this from afar whenever I ride a bus from TBS going fo Hatyai Thailand and it's on my bucket list. Finally, I was able to visit and see it for myself. Seeing it in the pictures and videos, it looks amazing but having it in front of my eyes, my heart is about to drop.

Leaving Batu Cave passed 7 in the evening, we went to the train station and found out that the train leave already and the next train will be leaving after another 2 hours. There is no direct train from Batu Cave going to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Center). You have to ride a train from Batu Cave to KL Sentral then from KL Sentral to KLCC.

So we decided to ride a taxi going to KLCC. It's far from Batu Cave and they asked 10 MYR each person. We negotiated with the taxi driver and they give us a discount and charge us only 70 MYR for 8 people.

As our taxi is getting closer to the famous Petronas Tower my eyes were sparkling. We arrived passed at 8 pm at the KLCC. I was so amazed and the stunning beauty of Petronas Twin Tower captured my heart. It looks like a twin cone from afar. The taxi driver drops us in front of Public Bank and here we go, taking unlimited photos to be posted on social media. The words to describe the Petronas Twin Tower are shining, shimmering and splendid. There are lots of people coming here but the place is not really crowded. You don't have to pay anything to visit the twin tower but you might get thirsty. The kind street vendor  is selling drinks for 2 MYR per plastic cups

We leave this place around 9 in the evening. We rode a rapid train from KLCC going to KL Sentral for 2.40 MYR. The train is located on your left side facing the Petronas Tower. On the left side of the twin tower. You will see stairs that lead you to the underground LRT station. We spent our night at KL Sentral and the next day we will travel to Hatyai Thailand via train for 85 MYR. Book a train ticket ahead go to www.busonline.com. The train from KL Sentral to Hatyai Thailand is always fully booked. So you need to book ahead of time.
