If you are looking for affordable room to stay in Hatyai. I would like to recommend The 1 Place Hostel Hatyai. The room is not so expensive yet it's a decent place to stay. It's located at Phetkasem Soi 20, Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Thailand and it's in a very convenient place where you can walk 2 minutes to ride songtew and go anywhere in Hatyai. The room is not luxurious, it's a budget hotel but clean and value for money. They have a standard room for two which equipped with a TV with cable, Kettle, hot shower and without the fridge. The regular room for two has a cable TV, kettle, Air-Conditioned, hot shower, and a mini-fridge. The family room is also available equipped with cable TV, kettle, hot shower, air-conditioned, fridge and they are baby-friendly hotel. All rooms in the hotel have a terrace and the wifi is free.
You can watch the sunrise if your room is facing the Lee Garden Plaza and watch the sunset if your room is on the other side of the building. You can have an awesome city view on a day or night and watch the birds flying in the sky from your terrace.
The staff can communicate in English at least and they are customer-friendly. They are willing to assist you if you need anything. They also offer travel tour around Hatyai.
